Charity Football Day Makes a HUGH Impression
Over £3000 raised for the R.N.I.D

Saturday the 13th June saw BTC Host and Organise the 1st annual 6-a-side football tournament and what a better way to start an annual event, then by donating the profits to charity??

BTC Football club teamed up with the local Co-Operative Food stores to arrange a fantastic day of football, events, games and prizes.
 
What a crowd, 0ver 700 people came to see the days events and show their support for the R.N.I.D



 

BoUnCy CaStLeS, MEGA slides, Raffles and so much more.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Ryan at Speedmark for helping on the day and giving everyone endless fun with his inflatable speedmarked goal.

 



And so starts the Co-Operative food stores charity football event. 16 stores with 16 teams compete for the title of Co-Operative food stores champion 2009.

A BIG thankyou to all the teams for their Fairplay and for setting examples to the public fort heir sportsmanship.

The general public came from all around the area to show their support to the activities during the day, over 700 people from all over came to see why BTC is -what we class to be- the best amateur football club on the south coast.

Ex Saints legend Nicky Banger was on hand to present the youth winners and runners up with their medals and trophies a big thanks to him for taking time out from his busy schedule and helping the cause.

After a whole day of football, the bouncy castles, raffles and more, everyone was exhausted, with the competition going on into the twighlight and darkness approaching there was not one person who was not happy to sit back, chillout and relax with a cold drink in the BTC Bar, remembering the days events.

After a fantastic day of football we would like to congratulate ALL the teams that Won in the morning from the under 11's 12's and 13's youth tournament and our congratulations to the Locksheath Co-operative food store for winning the Afternoon charity event.

And a final thankyou to EVERY ONE who helped make the day a HUGH success and helping us to raise over £3000 for the R.N.I.D
